Sinéid Codd

Sinéid Codd has a multidisciplinary practice. Colour and eclecticism are vital elements in all her work as is a developed use of narrative structures to articulate ideas. She explores relationship, time and place in personal, collaborative and site-specific projects.

Commissioned by the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Trust.

Devised, co-ordinated and facilitated arts consultation workshops in 14 facilities across the Trust. 2004

Happening Histories Project and CD ROM with Elvina Flower, 2000 - 02. A multi-media community mapping project with people living on the Grosvenor Estate, Southeast London. Funded by Southwark Council, Grosvenor Tenants Association and Regional Arts Lottery Program ( RALP) through London Arts

‘Tales from the Riverbank’, Cafe Gallery, 1995. Self-initiated community residency, collaborative intergenerational project and installation: local peoples’ memories and feelings about living by the River Thames in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe presented in the form of a perspex river running beneath floor level through the gallery. Audio recordings, found object collages, drawings and cast shadows. Funded by Sir John Cass Foundation; Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Newcommen Collet Trust
