Sinéid Codd

Sinéíd Codd makes personal work and initiates collaborative projects and installations: in both spheres of practice exploring time and place. Her intensely colourful hand made prints display a forensic detail derived from found objects and natural form. These works focus on movement and change within relationship, loss and memory. Narrative structures are used to articulate ideas. Outside of the studio, Sinéid’s self-initiated collaborative works develop in relation to location and connected communities, drawing on aspects of personal association and historical significance. Her most recent project, as lead artist and curator, is The Hastings Rarities Affair at Hastings Museum & Art Gallery 2010.
